To explain this mural, I’d have to go back to my first ayahuasca trip in Peru. During my stay in the jungle, one of my more profound visions was that of meeting my guardians. They appeared as large birds and draped their wings over me as a sign of protection. When I was asked to paint the inside of this dome I felt the size and magnitude of the space was a perfect opportunity to capture this spiritual moment.
